Meenakshi gave her very first out-of-India Bharatanatyam performance in the U.S., just one month from the day she landed here. The dance was a Bharatanatyam padam 'Ananda Natam Adum Eeshan' in praise of Lord Shiva's cosmic dance at the Golden temple of Thillai. Top

Meenakshi gave a very well attended and praised 2 hour traditional Bharatanatyam performance on the special occasion of Raam Navami. This performance featured a live orchestra lead by her Guru's Smt. Prema Nagasundaram (nattuvangam) and Smt. Padmini Radhakrishnan (vocal). To facilitate costume change, Meenakshi's little sister Dhanya Nagasundaram, also performed two Bharatanatyam items totaling about 15 minutes. Top
